I'm not out and about today, which is the last time I'll see a quiet Sunday until mid-July.  Oh, the joys of freelance music...

Early Music on the Move

On Sunday 2 June I will be accompanying Matthew Schultz in another organ and trumpet recital for the Early Arts Guild.

This is a bit different from the concert we played in March.  The program will be divided between two venues, St Stephen's Anglican Church and St James Catholic Church, both in Gardenvale.  St James' has a peal of bells, and I'm told they will be ringing during the interval.

Out and about on Sunday

This week I'm playing at All Saints, Northcote, again.  The main points where the organ does a little more during the service are the prelude, communion and postlude voluntaries.  Here's what I've got planned.

Out and about on Sunday evening

Following on from yesterday's installment of the events in store for the weekend, I'll be playing for the evening Mass at Newman College, which is at 7.00pm.  There will be a small choir performing various items, including Purcell's Bell Anthem.
