Surprising places in the bush

Today I went to Maldon, riding on a very leisurely train.  I've been there a few times in the past, but only ever visiting relatives who have long since moved on from the town so hadn't really seen the whole place.  Today I had the opportunity to walk around and see the town more extensively.

What surprised me most was turning around as I walked out of the station, only to see the facade of Clifton Hill looking back at me, complete with quatrefoil above the entrance.
